As a professional dancer Kylie knows the importance of good posture and core strength and had regular pilates training. After retiring from competitive dancing Kylie decided to study pilates in much greater depth, became qualified as an instructor and now holds a Diploma in the technique. She intends to use her knowledge of pilates to help dancers understand the huge benefits that pilates can bring as well as preventing injury.

Kylie has incorporated pilates in much of her dance teaching, particularly with musical theatre students who are much more prone to injury due to their intense training schedule.

What is Pilates?
